39 Weeks

Baby girl now matches up to a mini watermelon.
(20in, 7lbs)
She continues to develop a layer of fat to help
control her body temp after birth.
She is flexing her limbs and her brain is rapidly developing,
getting smarter by the week. :)

How far along? 39 weeks. I think I'm dreaming. I can't still be pregnant.
Maternity clothes? Dresses, yoga pants, tanks, chucks and flip flops. My new fave? Chucks with dresses. Yep.
Stretch marks? Nope. :) Thankful. But I'm out of Bio Oil and don't want to buy another bottle. Maybe if I do, I'll immediately go into labor and won't even need it. Usually the way it works.
Sleep: ahhhhhh Up every hour. Up early even on weekends. Nap when I can, usually early morning. Zoey is my little snooze buddy.
Energy: Depends... One day I'm scrubbing the bathroom, the next I don't even want to make my own lunch.
Best moment this week: Being told by the doc that once I go into labor, it shouldn't be long. She is thinking my labor should go pretty smoothly. Let's hope she's right!
Have you told family and friends: Of course!
Miss Anything? Running, sleeping on my stomach and back. Just around the corner!
Movement: She's constantly doing the wave like she's at a baseball game. Sometimes it's painful. Swear I can almost grab her foot when she kung fu kicks me.
Food cravings: Bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Craving satisfied this week. Mmm.
Food aversions: Want nothing to do with salt, pasta or meat.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Cigarette smoke. Barf.
Have you started to show yet: Yes, and this would be a fine stopping point for belly growth. ;)
Gender prediction: Little Princess.
Labor Signs: Still at 1cm dilated. Doc said cervix is paper thin so labor will be easy. Woke up today at 2AM with sharp lower back pain...
Symptoms: Lower back pain. ouch. Braxton Hicks and minor cramping over last two days. And I'm sooooo front heavy I feel like I could face plant at any moment. Hopefully someone has a camera when this happens.
Belly Button in or out? In with a nub.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: A last date night with my babe and of course meeting baby girl! Keep telling her anytime she's ready, let's do this!

38 Weeks

Baby girl is now the weight of a pumpkin and the length of a leek
(one of those giant onion looking things).
(19.5in, 6.8lbs)
She has a firm grasp and her organs have matured
and are ready for life outside the womb.
She may even have up to an inch of hair!

How far along? 38 weeks. Really??? I honestly didn't think I'd get this far!
Maternity clothes? Dresses, yoga pants and tanks. This won't change due to heat and humidity.
Stretch marks? Nope. :) Thankful.
Sleep: No longer sleeping through the night. The belly won't let me get comfy even with four pillows.
Energy: I wake up feeling like I weigh 800 lbs and I ache. Pretty difficult to get up. But once I get going, energy is normal.
Best moment this week: FINALLY deciding on a coming home outfit. :) And just talking about how we can't wait to meet her, see what her personality is like and what she looks like is fun to do. Pretty anxious. ;)
Have you told family and friends: Of course!
Miss Anything? Nope! Well, maybe sleeping on my stomach and back but those days are right around the corner.
Movement: She's a little kung fu panda. Sometimes her movement is painful.
Food cravings: OMG KIX.
Food aversions: Want nothing to do with salt.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Cigarette smoke. Barf.
Have you started to show yet: Yes, and this would be a fine stopping point for belly growth. ;)
Gender prediction: Mini princess.
Labor Signs: Still at 1cm dilated and Braxton Hicks are on fire!
Symptoms: Lower back pain. Seems to be a more serious issue for daddy though. Sympathy pains. :P
Belly Button in or out? In with a nub.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Seeing who made the closest prediction of baby girl's birthday. I predicted today...

37 Weeks

Baby gummy bear is now the size of a winter melon.
(18.9 in, 6.5 lbs).
(What is a winter melon???)
She's practicing inhaling, exhaling, sucking and
blinking and is now considered full term.

How far along? 37 weeks. And I don't think I'll ever feel the same about produce again.
Maternity clothes? Dresses, yoga pants and tanks.
Stretch marks? Proud to still say no although I just read that new marks can show up starting now and continue to show up until baby girl is born. This is definitely not ok. I'm tripling up on the Bio Oil.
Sleep: Sleeping through the night minus the three to six potty trips.
Energy: Energy is so so. Depends on the day really and how much I do that day. Still have had ZERO caffeine and I'm proud of myself for that so I'm not going to change it now. But I am ready for bed pretty early. Blue hair status.
Best moment this week: The OB appointment today, Mikey was there and able to see baby girl via ultrasound for the first time. :)
Have you told family and friends: Yep. And I'm sure the ones who I didn't tell know via this blog. :P
Miss Anything? Nope!
Movement: Almost looks alien like sometimes. Her hiccups make my entire belly move. I have fun just watching and wondering if anyone can see my belly move besides me. hehe.
Food cravings: Cereal. Honeydew. And oh! I just remembered I have more mango in the back of the freezer. I'll be consuming that bag once this post is complete!
Food aversions: Seems to be changing a little. Pretty hungry the past few days. And cooking more often so certain food hasn't really sounded as bad as normal.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Cigarette smoke I literally choke on. And I thought I was going to throw up last night at Fenway when I smelled the sausage cooking. It smelled good at first! Lasted about thirty seconds.
Have you started to show yet: OMG I really would like to STOP getting any bigger. Seriously.
Gender prediction: Mini princess.
Labor Signs: Still at 1cm dilated and Braxton Hicks have made a few visits.
Belly Button in or out? In with a nub.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Looking forward to: Continuing to get the room ready, unpacking and repacking the hospital bag and shopping for the last few things we still need. :)

36 Weeks

Baby gummy bear is now the size of a honeydew melon.
(18 1/2 in, 5.5 lbs).
She's getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on her own
(which I can tell by the frequency of her hiccups).
Her liver and her kidneys are in working order.

How far along? 36 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Dresses and yoga pants. Period.
Stretch marks? Proud to still say no. :)
Sleep: Sleeping through the night finally now that I'm back in Boston.
Energy: Energy is good! Except I tucker out around 6pm like a blue hair. ;)
Best moment this week: My first OB appointment with the new doc! I'm 1cm dilated and baby girl is expected to arrive early, within the next two weeks. Doc predicts 5-6 lbs. We are sooooooooooooo excited! I can barely sit still to type this post.
Have you told family and friends: I'm pretty sure they are as anxious as I am.
Miss Anything? Nope! Whatever I miss at this point will soon be a possibility again.
Movement: She already knows how to do the "wave" like she's at a sporting event. Feels like a tight squeeze in there and she has the hiccups 3-5 times a day.
Food cravings: Kix. Seriously going through a box every three days. Wow. Now that I type it, it is a lot huh? hehe. Least it's not the big box. :P
Food aversions: Eww to meat, pasta and peanut butter.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing that wouldn't make me sick normally. Cigarette smoke I literally choke on now though. Literally. And I might let the smoker know, too.
Have you started to show yet: umm. I should have probably deleted this question long ago. :P
Gender prediction: Love my princess.
Labor Signs: Besides being at 1cm dilated, no other signs and I feel great!
Belly Button in or out? In with a nub.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy happy joy joy.

Looking forward to: Next appointment on Monday. Daddy will be there to get his first (live) peek of baby girl during the ultrasound. :)

35 Weeks

Baby gummy bear is now the size of a coconut.
(18in, 5 1/4 lbs).
Her hearing is fully developed and she responds best to high-pitched sounds.

How far along? 35 weeks (last week).
Maternity clothes? Dresses and flippy floppies.
Stretch marks? Negative!
Sleep: = two hour naps off and on.
Energy: Energy is up. Noticed it's taking a little while longer than usual to finish my daily walks though.
Best moment this week: The baby shower was Saturday June 23rd and Mikey flying in from Boston to celebrate was definitely the best moment I've had in a while. :)
Have you told family and friends: How could I not?!
Miss Anything? Don't think so. Too close to the end to worry about things to miss.
Movement: All. The. Time. Counting kicks has become an actual detailed task. Like three per minute sometimes. So I think it's safe to say she is doing well in there.
Food cravings: Cereal, fruit, yogurt, cereal and cereal.
Food aversions: No to meat. No to pasta. Anything not cold or frozen, I'll pass.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing out of the norm. Reading more about labor and delivery and pretty safe to say I will be vomiting in the delivery room. Again, I admit I'm a pansy.
Have you started to show yet: No. ;) haha actually I look as though I've dropped a little since last post.
Gender prediction: Mini me. Look out!
Labor Signs: Nope. Baby is still brewing.
Belly Button in or out? In and Out. Kinda. You'd have to see it to understand. And that will never happen. :P But now I want a burger.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Finishing the road trip we are currently on and getting (re) settled in the apartment in Boston.

Gummy Bear Baby Shower

The Baby Shower was a great success! It was held it Saturday, June 23rd at Rusch Park and everything came out soooo cute. Big thank you to my gals for helping pull it all together... Jen O, Kelley W, Brittany S, Erin A, and Jen L of Cupcake Crazy Sacramento. Also in attendance was little dog Zoey and baby girl's daddy flew in that morning to celebrate! :)

It was a perfect day. Here are just a few of the photos to share with you...

34 Weeks

Baby girl is now the size of a butternut squash.
(measures 17.5 in, 4.75 lbs).
She can recognize and react to simple songs
and her skin is now smoother than ever!

How far along? 34 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Dresses & flip flops. Occasional bikini. That's it!
Stretch marks? Love me some Bio-Oil!
Sleep: I'll sleep in 18 years.
Energy: Pretty perky. Usually at night.
Best moment this week: Starting to pack the hospital and diaper bag in preparation! :)
Have you told family and friends: Oh yes. :) Baby shower this weekend!
Miss Anything? Running.
Movement: Seems she has the hiccups more than she kicks lately. Also I can see her moving through my clothes. Like she's rolling, not kicking. Looks so neat.
Food cravings: Cereal, frozen mango and strawberry yogurt. This question boring yet? My answer hasn't really changed. Although Mexican food is on the menu for this weekend.
Food aversions: Still the same. Eww to meat, pasta and peanut butter.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Cigarette smoke. BARF!
Have you started to show yet: nah! ;)
Gender prediction: Baby girl is already so beautiful.
Labor Signs: No more Braxton Hicks, that I can feel anyway.
Belly Button in or out? Don't ask.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Smiling! Is this real life?
Looking forward to: Seeing baby girl's daddy and him being able to feel her move. :) :) :)

33 Weeks

Baby girl is now the size of a pineapple.
(measures 17.2 in, 4.2 lbs).
She's keeping her eyes open
while awake and is also starting to coordinate
breathing with sucking and swallowing.

How far along? 33 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Pretty much all dresses at this point. Most comfy and the heat has not been messing around.
Stretch marks? Nope! Swear by Bio-Oil!
Sleep: haha.
Energy: Burning anxiety into energy so I'd say it's moderate.
Best moment this week: Had another 3D/4D ultrasound this past Thursday. Baby girl cooperated for the second half. She is soooooooooooooo adorable! Not much room left in there though and she is in the correct position so looks like the option of a C Section is probably out.
Have you told family and friends: Oh yes. :) Baby shower right around the corner.
Miss Anything? Running. And lately I've been so excited and happy about things I want to jump up and down but feel like I can't.
Movement: Daily kick counting has become more difficult but I'm probably doing it at the wrong time. She's still pretty active and has the hiccups at least twice a day.
Food cravings: Cereal, honeydew and strawberry yogurt. All I want. Funny I haven't had any major weird cravings. Feeling the need for some fro yo soon though. There's a new place I want to try out so I think I'll wait for that. ;)
Food aversions: Still the same. Eww to meat, pasta and peanut butter.  As far as salt is concerned, string cheese is the furthest I'll go.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope! I feel pretty lucky. Have a feeling labor will make up for it though.
Have you started to show yet: umm duh.
Gender prediction: Little girl.
Labor Signs: Too early! Braxton Hicks are happening again though.
Belly Button in or out? In-ish and weird looking.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Joy. Joy.
Looking forward to: The baby shower!

Maternity Photos

Thought I'd share a few of my favorite maternity photos. They all turned out sooooo great which makes it difficult to post just a few. Photographer Jonelle DeMarco did an exceptional job and I was able to include Zoey, who was on her best behavior (as always).

Anxiety + Insomnia = Late Night Cheerio Munching

As the days go on, I am more and more anxious to meet our baby girl. I think I went maybe four nights where I was able to sleep a solid three hours but it didn't last. Obviously, I'm up at 1AM eating cereal and blogging! I just keep looking at her ultrasound pics over and over, imagining what she will look like. Still I'm sometimes in disbelief that this is all really happening. It's a great exciting feeling, one that keeps you up at night. :)

Daddy, baby girl at 29w3d and mommy. :)

32 Weeks

Baby gummy bear is now the size of a squash.
(measures over 16.7in, 3.75 lbs).
She's getting ready for her descent and is now in the head down position.
Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

How far along? 32 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Yep. Dresses, yoga pants, leggings, flip flops and Chucks. Still all I'm interested in wearing. But the dresses aren't maternity so I may be able to wear them for a bit after baby. :) Wear a pair of maternity jeans here and there when Sac weather decides to be bi-polar.
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: I sleep for an hour at a time at night. Occasionally a nap during the day if I give myself time.
Energy: Energy is good! As long as I keep food in my belly. Otherwise I run out of fuel quickly and might move over to the cranky side for a minute.
Best moment this week: Definitely yesterday! I had my maternity photo shoot and it couldn't have gone better! I will post a couple pics this week but won't have most for two more weeks. Jonelle DeMarco was the photographer and she did an awesome job.
Have you told family and friends: Of course. Baby shower planning is in full effect.
Miss Anything? Sleeping on tummy and running and jumping on the shopping cart in the parking lot after picking up groceries. Stopped myself from doing that the other day.
Movement: She's still the little gymnast but her gym is quickly running out of room and I can tell.
Food cravings: Cereal, cereal, cereal. I'm eating Kix and yogurt right this second actually. Going through a couple boxes of cereal a week.
Food aversions: Still the same. Eww to meat, pasta and peanut butter. And nothing salty but that's nothing new for me really. Probably just avoid it more than usual now.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No more labor videos in pregnancy class so I'm good.
Have you started to show yet: Oh yea. But apprently from behind you can't tell I'm pregnant so that makes me happy. And despite certain nicknames I have been given during this pregnancy, I am not waddling, weebling or wobbling! :P
Gender prediction: Little girl and she looks and acts like her daddy already.
Labor Signs: Too early!
Belly Button in or out? In, plus a nub right above it.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy happy.
Looking forward to: The Baby Connection asked me if I would like to come back again this week. A new tech is in training and needs practice. Umm, of course I'm not going to say no! Maybe baby girl will show her face this time. Even if she doesn't, it's always fun to see her.

31 Weeks

Baby gummy bear weighs as much as four navel oranges.
(measures over 16in, 3.3 lbs).
Her energy is surging and all five senses are fully developed.
(See my "Yep, I'm huge" face above)

How far along? 31 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Dresses, yoga pants, leggings, flip flops and Chucks. Still all I'm interested in wearing.
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: ha. I go to sleep at night and I'm up an hour later. Kind of like a game. Zoey hasn't been feeling well so we are both up off an on all night.
Energy: I realized my energy went back up a little this week when I found myself organizing and re-organzing baby girl's clothes multiple times. Washed twice. Keeping busy.
Best moment this week: I've started counting kicks and did not realize just how active she really is! She has a routine, same times every day, but the frequency is amazing! Another "best moment" this week, I was at the grocery store, a dad shopping with his two little kids looked at me and then down at his son and said, "See what happens when you eat watermelon seeds." Boy's eyes got huge as he looked over at me. It was pretty cute.
Have you told family and friends: Yes, and a couple of her "aunts" are soooooooooo anxious!
Miss Anything? Nothing that I know I won't be able to do soon so I'm being patient.
Movement: She's a busy bee in there! Her dance routines are becoming more complex. She's so talented. :)
Food cravings: Kix. Went to the store pretty late the other night just for Kix. Biggest box I could find because they don't last long.
Food aversions: Eww to meat, pasta and peanut butter. I really don't want anything warm. Probably because of the weather but it just makes my tummy grrr to think about it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I can't handle the labor videos we have to watch in the pregnancy classes I've been attending. So I'm a pansy. Last week I actually did have to step out of the room because I thought I was going to pass out. So when the question comes up in the delivery room of whether or not I would like a mirror, the answer is a big fat NO.
Have you started to show yet: My belly button has started to show on top of my belly showing. It's a little nub on the belly. But my button is still an innie. So funny looking!
Gender prediction: She's a girl. A stubborn little girl!
Labor Signs: Experienced Braxton Hicks contractions for the first time last week. That was interesting! Thankful for Brittany who has already been through this and is there to tell me everything is normal. Symptoms: I'm a little nauseous and lightheaded today. No bueno. Probably because I'm out of Kix.
Belly Button in or out? In, but again, there's a little nub.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy happy.

Looking forward to: Part II of the 3D ultrasound on Thursday. The tech is so awesome to have me come back in because she wasn't happy with the first round of photos. Hopefully baby girl cooperates and let's us see her pretty little face. Saw lots of views of her (daddy size) feet last time. ;)

Exercise for the Bump

Foot shrinkage is a symptom of pregnancy. :P

I can't explain how much walking has helped me through this pregnancy. I feel sooooo much better at the end of the day from walking for just 30 minutes a day. I've been lucky, the Sacramento weather is perfect around 7 pm every night. Although I would really like to run like I would pre-pregnancy, this is the next best thing until I can again. I will forever recommend it to any pregnant friends. Exercise is always important and doesn't have to change just because you are pregnant. :)

30 weeks

Baby gummy bear is now the size of a large head
of cabbage (weight-wise).

(almost 16in, 3 lbs).
Her skin is getting smoother and she is now strong
enough to grasp a finger!

How far along? 30 weeks. Ginormous and still 70 days to go! eek.
Maternity clothes? Dresses, bikinis, yoga pants, leggings, flip flops and Chucks. That is IT! I no longer like jeans at this time.
Stretch marks? No, and I'm pretty sure I am keeping Bio Oil in business just on my own. DETERMINED to avoid them!
Sleep: hahahaha. What is the question? Can you define this word please?
Energy: A teeny bit lower than it was last trimester. Naps do not equal energy anymore. Walks still help though.
Best moment this week: The ultrasound!!! She's soooooooooooo cute!!! :)
Have you told family and friends: Of course. And thanks to her Nana and my friends, I think baby girl already has more clothes than I do, which I had no idea was possible.
Miss Anything? Ahh this question... I miss sleeping on my stomach and wearing my Express jeans.
Movement: She's been more quiet this past week than previously. But now when she is up, I can feel her hiccups! Oh, and I felt the first hard jab last night. I kinda yelped and Zoey just rolled her eyes at me. Baby girl is buff! Like me. ;)
Food cravings: This week has been honeydew with strawberry yogurt, daily smoothies & Kix cereal. Lots and lots of Kix!
Food aversions: Eww to meat, pasta and peanut butter. Wondering if my In N Out craving will come back but with temps already in the mid 90s, I don't see that happening.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Yes. The birth videos we have to watch in the pregnancy classes I've been attending. I'll admit it, I'm a pansy. Almost passed out when they took blood at my glucose test, when I received my Rhogam shot and now these videos are making me so sick I almost feel like I need to leave the room. I am in for it when this baby comes!!! Gotta man up!

Have you started to show yet: Umm.
Gender prediction: Little pink gummy bear is quickly becoming a pink panda!

Labor Signs: No and I have a list of labor signs on the fridge for reference. But I'm sure I'll know.
Symptoms: Yes. My ass is huge.
Belly Button in or out? In, but the piercing poking out makes my belly look like it has a little face on it. Hilarious!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy and sleepy.
Looking forward to: Doctor's appointment this Wednesday. Also approaching are the second 3D ultrasound and maternity photos! :)

3D Ultrasound: 29w3d

Finally got in for the 3D ultrasound! Today was the first time baby girl was actually not feeling the ultrasound. She hid a little bit and I think she was tired. She yawned several times and her mouth looked HUGE! hehe. Also, she has daddy's feet so she won't ever be borrowing my shoes. I couldn't believe how beautiful she already is! The ultrasound tech at Baby Connection was so AWESOME! I go back in two weeks for more photos since this visit didn't provide as many as usual. Of course, I don't mind being able to see her again.

She was definitely stubborn at this visit.
I can't wait to meet her and see if she is just as stubborn once she's here. ;)

'Mommy to Be' Mother's Day Present

Had to share my beautiful surprise with everyone. I was overwhelmed when these arrived as I really didn't expect to be celebrated until next year but mommy to be counts, too! I also received so many Happy Mother's Day messages from friends and couldn't have been happier with the way the day turned out. I think I become more excited to meet baby girl each day, if that's even possible.

I'll be floating on a happy cloud for quite a while thanks to these flowers. <3

29 weeks

Baby gummy bear is now the size of a butternut squash (weight-wise).
(15.2 in, 2.5 lbs).
Her muscles and lungs are continuing to mature and
her head is growing bigger to make room for her
really smart brain. ;)
How far along? 29 weeks. Almost to the 30s! WoW.
Maternity clothes? Besides the daily dresses, I found a pair of yoga capri pants I can't seem to take off. Too comfy.
Stretch marks? Still a no! Stop asking or I'll get jinxed. :P
Sleep: More like a few naps pieced together. And sleeping only on my left side is sometimes difficult but definitely doable.
Energy: The couch is comfy. ;)
Best moment this week: Receiving my first Mother's Day present. The prettiest flowers I have ever seen and my fave, stargazer lilies. :)
Have you told family and friends: Yes and we received an awesome box full of baby girl clothes from Nana (Grandma Rose) today. Everything is so adorable! I'm more excited as the days go by.
Miss Anything? My face smashed into the pillow as I drool, sleeping on my stomach.
Movement: She's definitely a night owl. No clue where she gets that! Most of her movement is between midnight and 5am. Although Saturday she gave me a little scare. I didn't feel her move almost all day. I guess she hit the snooze button a couple extra times.

Food cravings: OMG FRUIT. I seriously cannot get enough and I've become pretty creative with it. hehe. Also, I purchased a single serving smoothie blender thingy to save me from spending so much at Jamba. It was a very good purchase for me!

Food aversions: Still the same, anti meat, pasta and peanut butter. eww.

Anything making you queasy or sick: My allergies are soooooooooooooo bad I can't even describe it.
Have you started to show yet: Belly is bigger by the day.
Gender prediction: Little princess. <3
Labor Signs: Nope and thanks to last week's Lamaze class I know just what I'm waiting for.
Symptoms: Besides the belly? Nothing new this week.
Belly Button in or out? In, but where my piercing was still looks totally weird and sticks out. It looks like my belly has a nose! Cracks me up. :D
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy.
Looking forward to: Seeing her face during the ultrasound on Wednesday!!! I'm beyond excited to see what she looks like. :) :) :)

28 weeks

Baby girl is now the size of  a Chinese cabbage
(umm check it out next time you're in produce?)

(15 in, 2 1/4 lbs.)

She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes! :)
She may be able to see the light that
filters through the womb.
I read that you can sometimes pick up the baby's
heartbeat by putting an ear to the belly.
But obviously I can't reach. ;)

How far along? 28 weeks. Now in the third trimester!!! I can't believe it! 84 more days!
Maternity clothes? Sticking with dresses, flip flops, espadrilles and bikinis. Going to be in the 90s all week!!!
Stretch marks? Still a no... for now.
Sleep: ahh... The more pillows on the bed, the better I sleep. But there is no routine for me. Sometimes I can't fall asleep until late night/early morning and I sleep sooooooooooo hard. Often waking up not remembering I'm pregnant until I get out of bed. This seems weird to me...
Energy: A bit lower lately. Some days I am down to zero, others I want to do everything in one day! Seems it's easier to wait until it's dark to run errands. Cooler out and I can take Zoey.
Best moment this week: Having my dress blow up and a bug fly down the top of it all within five minutes. That was a fun, very pregnant day. :P.
Have you told family and friends: Yes and Zoey felt baby kicks for the first time this week. She was so confused. It was adorable!
Miss Anything? I'm going to start skipping this question! ;) I miss a long run. When I walk I have to listen to a different playlist or nothing at all to avoid over doing it.
Movement: When is she not moving?! She's on more of a schedule now and has a rhythm going for sure. Still feels brand new when I watch my tummy move.

Food cravings: Jamba Juice, frozen mango, milk and any fresh fruit. Had a seriously crazy 2am craving for Simply Orange orange juice the other night. If I could have gotten someone to bring me some, I totally would have! It was UNREAL. Think I was drooling. And now I'm hungry.
Food aversions: Want nothing to do with meat, pasta or peanut butter. bleh!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Strong perfumes make me dizzy and it is officially allergy season so being outside has been rough!
Have you started to show yet: Belly is bigger by the day.
Gender prediction: Little princess. <3
Labor Signs: Nope.
Symptoms: I cannot believe how much worse my eyesight has become. I'm due for an exam but this is ridiculous. All part of pregnancy according to my Pregnancy Bible, "What to Expect When You're Expecting." Also, I'm pretty sure my nose has gotten bigger. haha ugh.
Belly Button in or out? In, but where my piercing was still looks totally weird and sticks out.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy.
Looking forward to: Seeing her writtle face in 3D on May 16th. The ultrasound tech was booked solid and that's the soonest I could get in! :)

Nursery Art

Found this little DIY project on Pinterest, of course, and just had to try it out for baby girl's room. Of course as soon as I completed it, I wanted to do it over but imperfection makes it perfect. I'm a nerd and love finding ways to save money while being crafty so I'm already working on the next project. Will post pics as the nursery comes along. :)

27 weeks

Baby girl is now the size of  a cauliflower.
(14.5 in, 2 lbs.)
She is breathing (amniotic fluid) and
she's showing brain activity!

How far along? 27 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Dresses, dresses, dresses. It's been in the 80s lately so to stay comfy, dresses and espadrilles are required. Might have to invest in a kiddie pool shortly. ;)
Stretch marks? Noooooooooooooooooope
Sleep: What's that? :P Actually with the combination of daily walks with Zoey, yoga and stretching before bed, I sleep harder but still not very long. It doesn't bother me anymore though.
Energy: Energy is moderate... Start wrapping up my days earlier than I used to. I try to anyway.
Best moment this week: Hearing baby girl's heartbeat. Feels like the first time every time I hear it.
Have you told family and friends: Yes and she has a lot of people excited to meet her. Zoey included.
Miss Anything? Probably repetitive, but a hard workout at the gym would do me some good. Registered for a jogging stroller last week. I'm soooo ready.
Movement: She's such a little night owl. Seeing her move is amazing. I can watch her forever.
Food cravings: McDonald's ice cream cones!!! Milk, fruit and Cheerios.
Food aversions: I'll eat almost anything, except peanut butter.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I really have been lucky. No sickness at all. Not as much dizziness this week either.
Have you started to show yet: Everyday the belly is bigger!
Gender prediction: Little princess!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Symptoms: Lower back pain is consistent but exercise helps make everything better.
Belly Button in or out? In, but probably not for much longer.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. :)
Looking forward to: Seeing her writtle face in 3D next week!!! :) :) :)
